This organization is run by religious bigots. If you are LGBTQ+ this is not a safe space to work/volunteer. With that in mind, LGBTQ+ people aren’t safe there at all, no matter the reason. How disturbing to know that they are pushing their religion onto people.

Sadly this place serves mostly as a "waiting area" for the county morgue. Or the jail.
To their Credit many of the staff do their best to help within the spartan limitations they must work within.

If you’re a member of the LGBT community and want to volunteer to help the homeless don’t bother, they don’t want you! Unless you’re willing to sign a policy saying you’re offensive to God.
Even if you have years experience volunteering for homeless and GED/Literacy organizations!
There’s no hate like Christian love!
