Abortion Pill
Reversal

What is an abortion pill?

Can the abortion pill be reversed after you take it?

I’ve taken the abortion pill and changed my mind. Is it too late?

If you’ve taken the first abortion pill but changed your mind, time is of the essence. Ideally, you want to begin the abortion pill reversal process within 24 hours of taking the first abortion pill, mifepristone, to continue your pregnancy. If it has been longer than 24 hours since you took the first pill, don’t give up yet. Many abortion pill reversals have been successful when the treatment begins 72 hours after a woman took the first pill.

Where can I get the abortion pill reversal?

If your abortion pill provider tells you that you must complete the abortion by taking the second pill, this is not true. There is always a chance you can continue your pregnancy. Even if it has been over 72 hours since you took the first abortion pill, you can still contact a clinic for help.
